Sonam Kapoor made her debut in 2007 in Sanjay Leela Bhansali opposite Ranbir Kapoor, and since then, there has been no stopping her. With films like Aisha, Khoobsurat, Raanjhna, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Neerja and many more to her credit, Kapoor has been slaying it completely. And not to forget, her taste in fashion. You name it, and she’s slayed it on every single red carpet she’s walked, specially Cannes.
While speaking to a leading daily, here is what she had to say on finishing 10 years in the Hindi Film Industry. “2017 is a decade for me in the industry. I think the whole point of being a human being is to evolve and be better. I’ve been a tortoise. I think it’s about being slow, steady, doing things you believe in, trudging on, working hard and creating relationships because winning is not important, what’s important is being the best version of yourself.”
Well, we wish Sonam Kapoor many more great films to come. For now, she’s working on Akshay Kumar’s Padman, Ranbir Kapoor’s untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic and Rhea Kapoor’s Veere Di Wedding with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Swara Bhasker.
