Varun Dhawan apologises to Kangana Ranaut

“When my biopic is made you’ll play the movie mafia… the flag bearer of nepotism”. This is what Kangana Ranaut had said to Karan Johar on his show while she was promoting Rangoon. That, of course didn’t go down well with the director. While some of the industry walahs took Kangana’s side, most remained on Johar’s.

Recently at IIFA, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan and Saif Ali Khan shouted “Nepotism Rocks” on stage (Read that story here), taking a dig at Ranaut. While Kangana still hasn’t commented on the same, Varun Dhawan took to Twitter yesterday and apologised. Though he hasn’t mentioned any names or whatsoever, but it’s pretty evident that it’s Kangana who he is apologising to. Here’s what he tweeted:

Well, sorry doesn’t make a dead man alive, does it? But this sure is a teeny-tiny step that could have been taken!

What do you think of this ‘nepotism’ battle?
