Our B-town ladies don’t shy away from working with younger male actors as of late. Kareena Kapoor Khan started this trend by signing films like Ek Main Air Ekk Tu and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein with Imran Khan and recently Aishwarya Rai Bachchan worked with Ranbir Kapoor, again, a much more younger actor.
Kajol, who has never worked with a younger actor in the 25 years that she has been in this industry, recently spoke to a daily and said that she is not against the idea. Though she did act with Dhanush in VIP2, but not opposite him. Here is what she had to say, “It would depend on the script. If the script demands it, I would not be averse to it. I’m completely okay with it. Films today have different subjects and directors are dealing with them with a different sensibility and maturity, which is great.”
When asked whom she would like to work with she said, “Whoever from the younger generation is cast opposite me, should be more manly and less boyish. I won’t be naming anyone at all.”
Who do you think is manly enough to work with Kajol?
