Jacqueline Fernandez signs The Girl on the Train’s Hindi adaptation

Jacqueline Fernandez is one of the busiest actresses currently. After delivering a hit (Judwaa 2), Jackie has already begun shooting for Drive opposite Sushant Singh Rajput and has signed Race 3 for later.

And now, she has also signed the Hindi adaptation of The Girl on the Train. The book has been written by Paula Hawkins and Emily Blunt played the titular role in the English film. Directed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film is supposed to go on floors midway through next year. “I have just finished the script. Jackie has come on board as the protagonist. While the novel had an ensemble cast, our film will revolve around her character. I have been looking forward to working with her and this seemed like a perfect project to collaborate,” said the director.
