Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati has dealt with its share of troubles and as predicted, the film will finally release now that the Gujarat elections are done with. The film will be given a green signal by the CBFC today and it will be out for the good of all.
According to sources from a leading daily, “There’s been no official intimation from the producers. Whenever they plan to release it, we will be happy to give them the promised number of screens.”
Another source says, “Once the certificate comes, the producers will decide when they want to release Padmavati. As of now, they’re looking at January 5 and January 12.”
Starring Deepika Padukone Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor, in the lead roles, the film also stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh in supporting roles.
