Shahrukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali worked together in Devdas, back in 2003 and if reports are to go by, they will be coming together again for Bhansali’s next film. Bhansali will begin work on the same after the release of Padmavati.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali has long been working on the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic of which Priyanka Chopra was a part but things did not work out on that front and Bhansali decided to move forward. However there is no confirmation of that film being shelved.
While nothing is confirmed, it is also reported that Bhansali has approached Deepika Padukone to play the lead role in it. And if she agrees, this will be Padukone’s forth outing with Bhansali after Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavati.
