Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much talked about Padmavati’s name had to be changed to Padmavat. The film was supposed to release last year on December 1 but due to objections by the Karni Sena, the release of the film was put on hold. About a week back, this Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor starrer received the green signal from the CBFC and now the film is slated for a January 25 release.
Also releasing on the same weekend are Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte’s PadMan and Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee and Rakulpreet Singh’s Aiyaari. Do you think Padmavat will swipe away the screens for the other two films?
