Akshay Kumar seems to be the flag-bearer of clashes. His film was earlier clashing with Padmaavat and later with Aiyaari, but both the clashes were avoided. Now it turns out that Kumar’s Gold, directed by Reema Kagti, will be clashing with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika, which is aiming for a August 15th release.
A source informed a leading daily, “Principal shooting for Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi will wrap up by March. However, an elaborate post-production schedule will follow. There are opulent war sequences and fight scenes, hence, abundant VFX work will be done on the film. The makers estimate a minimum of three to four months to complete it.”
Well, we can just wait and watch. While Gold also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Mouni Roy, Manikarnika co-stars Ankita Lokhande, Jisshu, Atul Kulkarni, Sonu Sood and is directed by Krish.
