Sara Ali Khan is the much talked about starkid at the moment due to the problems and delays involved with her debut film, Kedarnath. Recently, Anushka Sharma’s production house, Clean Slate Films, approached Khan for their next venture, Bulbul, but Khan had to say no.
Reports suggest that Sara is under a contract and may require a NOC (No Objection Certificate) to do another film. And even if she wanted to do Bulbul, she couldn’t since Kedarnath is still in the shooting stage.
A source revealed, “The newcomers are either under contract for three films or for three-to-five years. If the contract is for a certain number of years, all the deals are routed through the producer or the agency which strikes the deal.”
Should Sara have gone the Alia Bhatt and Janhvi Kapoor way and signed a three-film deal with a huge production house like Dharma? What are your views?
