The untimely demise of Sridevi has left everyone in shock. All her friends and even rivals from the industries are expressing their concern and how deeply shook they are. Talking about the same, Sridevi’s one-time rival, Jaya Prada stated to a leading daily, “News of her demise seems like a bad dream. I couldn’t believe it till I saw it on news channels. We worked together in several films like Tohfa (1984). She was a wonderful actor and mother. It was her dream to see her daughters (Janhvi and Khushi) rule the silver screen – just like she did.”
Jaya Prada and Sridevi had worked together in films like Tohfa, Maqsad, Naya Kadam and Main Tera Dushman and were great rivals. It was so bad between them that both the leading ladies would not speak to each other until 2015 when they ended their cold war.
We wish Sridevi a very beautiful afterlife…
