Ranu Mukerji’s 2014 release, Mardaani, had left everyone talking. The film dealt with the problem of human trafficking and Mukerji won all hearts for playing a badass cop in it.
As the actress gears up for the release of her next, Hichki on 23rd February, Mukerji was asked if a sequel to Mardaani is on the cards, to which she replied, “I can’t do Mardaani 2 just for the heck of it. It has to make sense to me. So, if we get an equally powerful subject to deal with then I will definitely do Mardaani 2.”
