On Hrithik Roshan’s birthday, Rakesh Roshan had announced the next installment of the Krrish series, to be released in the Christmas weekend of 2020. Reports are now suggesting that daddy Roshan and his team of writers are now working on not one, but two installments that will release over a period of time, both of which will be shot together.
When it comes to the leading lady of the film, Priyanka Chopra will continue playing her character, while Katrina Kaif is rumoured to be in talks among the production and will be approached soon. It is being said that after Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra playing leads opposite Hrithik Roshan in the first three installments, the team now wants a new face opposite Roshan. And while PeeCee will continue her part, Kangana Ranaut will (obviously) notA source spoke to a leading daily and said, “Priyanka’s character is already there in the film. It has to be developed further. Alternatively, if there is another heroine, the script has to be modified. What will be interesting to see is if he (Rakesh Roshan) manages to incorporate more than one girl giving equal space to both. Kangana Ranaut was the other girl in Krrish 3 and that made the film a two-heroine film even though Kangana had more of a negative role.”
It is also being reported that Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been signed to play the antagonist in the film.
