It is been a while since we saw our desi girl, Priyanka Chopra on screen. Her last outing as a leading lady was the 2016 Jai Gangajal, which many of us have conviniently forgotten. After many rumours of PeeCee signing multiple films, we finally know that she is doing Salman Khan’s Bharat, also featuring Disha Patani and Tabu.
While Khan will start shooting for the film in June, Chopra will wrap up the promotions of Quantico Season 3 and those of her other Hollywood projects and start shooting in July. “She will wrap up promotions for Quantico 3 and her other international commitments by June-end. She will be back to India and begin shoot for the Ali Abbas Zafar film July onwards. The team plans to shoot a few portions of the film with Salman before PC joins them on the set,” a source informed a leading daily.
Slated for an Eid 2019 release, Bharat is the official adaptation of the Korean film Ode To My Father.
