That Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao are both terrific performers is known. But little did we know that they’re so much in demand, together. After Queen, seems like they’ve become a rage, and why shouldn’t they.
The two powerhouse performers are currently working on Ekta Kapoor’s Mental Hai Kya, the stills from which are proof of their combined talent. And now it turns out that Anurag Basu has signed Rao opposite Ranaut in his next, Imali.
A source told a leading daily, “Rajkummar has been signed for the film opposite Kangana. This is his first film with Basu. He is very excited to work with him, as it was always his dream to be a part of an Anurag Basu movie. Raj also happens to be a fan of love stories, so that makes this all the more special.”
Preps of this film will begin in August, after Ranaut wraps up Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s next and the shooting in November.
