Priyanka Chopra may be showing Nick Jonas around Mumbai, providing him with the best of Indian hospitality, but she hasn’t kept her work diary away. The latest reports suggest that Priyanka Chopra has signed Shonali Bose’s next alongside Farhan Akhtar. The film is based on the life of Ayesha Chaudhary, the young motivational speaker who was born with immune deficiency disorder.
A source told a leading daily, “The movie is based on Ayesha’s life and her book My Little Epiphanies. Priyanka and Farhan will play her parents’ role. Zaira Wasim will be portraying Ayesha’s role in the film. The film goes on floors in August this year.”
Chaudhry was born with immune deficiency disorder. At the age of 13, she was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis. But this did not stop her from owning the world in her own sense. At a very young age, this girl had given TEDx and INK talks, but unfortunately passed away at the age of eighteen.
Bose’s last work was Kalki Koechlin and Sayani Gupta’s Margarita With A Straw.
