Till three years back, Priyanka Chopra had no Bollywood films due to her commitment to Quantico and other Hollywood projects. And now, she has two! While the shooting for Salman Khan’s Bharat will begin later in August, Chopra will start shooting for Shonali Bose’s the Sky Is Pink right after they are done with the workshops, which have already begun.
A source told a leading daily, “The prep will go on for a while after which they will lock on the shooting date depending on the actors’ schedules. Mostly it will begin before Priyanka starts shooting for the Salman Khan period drama, Bharat. The actors are really excited.”
Shonali Bose had earlier said, “This is an absolutely true story and very close to my heart. I’m having a mind-blowing time workshopping with my incredible cast.”
The film is based on the life of Aisha Chaudhry, to be played by Zaira Wasim, while Chopra and Farhan Akhtar will play her parents.
