Karan Johar and director Raj Mehta have been looking for a second couple for their film for a while now. We had told you earlier that Kareena Kapoor Khan and Akshay Kumar will be reuniting on screen for this film, in which they play a couple, which is trying to have a child. The film also has a substantial second couple and earlier there were rumours about Janhvi Kapoor playing the second lead. Later, buzz was that Bhumi Pednekar will play the part.
Sources now reveal that Johar and Mehta have recited the script to Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani and both of them have loved it. “Though Diljit and Kiara are yet to sign on the dotted line. They have loved the story and have given a verbal nod to the project,” a source told a leading daily.
