Today, it’s no news that Priyanka Chopra has walked out of Salman Khan’s Bharat post her engagement to Nick Jonas. The buzz is that the global couple are set to tie the knot in October and hence the decision of quit Bharat. A source revealed to a leading daily, “She shared the news of her marriage with Salman. She told him she needs time to prepare for it, which is why she won’t be able to work on Bharat. And Salman was more than happy for her, and obliged.”
But now, reports suggest that the reason why Chopra walked out of Bharat is two fold. One, her forthcoming wedding and two, she wants to revive her project with Priya Mishra, which is based on the life of Kalpana Chawla. Mishra told a leading daily, “Work on the biopic has been on for many years, for me it is a work in progress. Priyanka, Viacom and I are still making that film together. I don’t know if it will start in a few months’ time, but it is definitely not happening right now.”
