When Priyanka Chopra walked out of Ali Abbas Zafar, the reason stated was her engagement to Nick Jonas. While Chopra has been engaged, turns out that the actual reason why she opted out of the Salman Khan starrer was an opportunity abroad. Sources have confirmed that our desi girl will star opposite Chris Pratt in his next, Cowboy Ninja Viking as the leading lady of the film. Turns out that Chopra’s ‘chemistry test with Pratt went extremely well’, and hence the official announcement.
Before this, Chopra has appeared in A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic, but has had a supporting role in both. This film, directed by Michelle MacLaren of Game of Thrones fame will hit the theatres on June 28, 2019.
In other worlds, PC will be seen in Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink along with Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar next.
