Nowadays, it is not something new when actors announce that they are willing to turn directors. While most of them haven’t turned out to be great directors, there are some, like Konkona Sensharma, who have been just marvellous at both the crafts.
The latest addition to this group of actors, wanting to explore the world of direction is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Recently, while promoting her film, Fanney Khan, the actress expressed her desire to go to the other side of the camera. She told a leading daily, “When I do direct, I will throw myself whole-heartedly in it. It will never be a fly-by-night commitment for me, as my work consumes me completely.”
