I’m always very skeptical of Bollywood trailers, because some of them give out way too much information, some way too less, and some are just badly made. I think the last trailer I really loved was Lootera’s, which was a Phantom Films production as well. So here is Manmarziyaan, starring Taapsee Pannu, Abhishek Bachchan and Vicky Kaushal who are stuck in a love triangle. But this is not a Dharma love triangle. There are no flowers blown by the wind, or dupattas flying. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, you expect a raw, earthy feel to the film, and it has it.
Vicky Kaushal and Abhishek Bachchan seem to play the perfect competitors to woo Taapsee Pannu and the story seems intriguing enough for me to watch this film first day, first show. But my favourite in the trailer is the always reliable, Taapsee Pannu. She seems to have the most screen time and is given the best dialogues, at least in the trailer.
