Rani Mukerji: Adira’s only entitlement today is that she has famous parents

These days, star kids are being hounded by the paparazzi more than the stars themselves. You might find about 90,000 pictures of Taimur Ali Khan on Instagram alone. This is one starkid, and one social media platform we are talking about. Then there is Misha Kapoor, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, the Roshan brothers, Nysa and Yug Devgn and many more. But one starkid, who has managed to stay away from all this glitter and glamour is Adira Chopra. Parents Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra have made sure that their kid doesn’t come into the limelight and is able to lead a normal life, as does any other kid, outside the industry.

Talking about this paparazzi culture, Rani Mukerji told a leading daily, ” I don’t understand the unnecessary exposure a kid is forced to have when they’re young. I don’t want my daughter to grow to be entitled. Her only entitlement today is that she has famous parents, but that’s it. It’s not something she has earned. When she grows up, she will need to earn her own status. And that’s why I feel it necessary to keep her away from the media glare. I have managed to go by all this time without a single picture of my daughter being published, I’m sure it’s possible for others to do so too.”

Well, we have to say, we agree with Rani one hundred percent!
