We informed you earlier that Anurag Basu has approached Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor to play the main leads in his next, which is a sequel to Life In A Metro. After Kapoor Khan declined the film because she had already given her dates to Good News. Basu approached Kangana Ranaut for the same but because she had already given her dates to Mental Hai Kya, she politely told her mentor that she wouldn’t be able to do it.
Our sources now inform us that the filmmaker has roped in Sonakshi Sinha and Saif Ali Khan to play the leading roles in the film. The actors won’t be paired opposite each other but will share a few scenes together. Basu’s has also already signed Taapsee Pannu, Rajkumar Rao and Abhishek Bachchan for his film.
