Sara Ali Khan would be the only person who is making her debut with almost two films. While Rohit Shetty’s Simmba releases on 28th December, Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath will hit the screens early next year. There were a lot of rumours that Khan has also signed David Dhawan’s next, alongside Varun Dhawan, which would revive the No. 1 series, but that’s not true. Our sources had never confirmed it and hence we never told you the story. But now we do have a confirmation that Khan hasn’t signed the film. In fact, Daddy Dhawan is still finalising the script and will approach actresses only after that.
A source told a leading daily, “David is still working on the script. And only after the screenplay is locked will he approach an actress. Till then, there’s no question of discussing it with any suitable actress, forget finalising or signing anyone for his next with Varun.”
While Simmba stars Ranveer Singh opposite Sara Ali Khan, she’ll be seen romancing Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath.
