Taapsee Pannu has had one hell of a 2018. With Mulk, Soorma and Manmarziyaan performing the way they did and Pannu’s performance being top notch in each of them, she’s literally changed the narrative for women in Hindi Cinema. And now with films like Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla and Anurag Kashyap’s Womaniya, Pannu seems to have a great 2019 as well.
But turns out, the Pink actress has had to walk out of Anurag Basu’s next, in which she was paired opposite Aditya Roy Kapoor. The film, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Rajkummar Rao among other actors will be shot in the same format as was Basu’s Life in a Metro, but now, unfortunately Pannu won’t be a part of it.
Our sources tell us that Basu hadn’t provided fixed dates to Pannu and because of lack of clarity on that and since she has to begin shooting for Kashyap’s Womaniya soon, Pannu had to opt out of the film.
