With films like Queen, Tanu Weds Manu Returns and recently Manikarnika to her sole credit, it doesn’t come as a surprise that Kangana Ranaut is one of the highest paid female actors in the country. And now, if reports are to be believed, Ranaut has become the highest paid female actor in the country. Kangana bagged the J Jayalalithaa biopic for a whopping amount of 24 crores.
A source close to the development revealed to a leading daily, “Kangana is being paid a sum of Rs 24 crore for the bilingual project, which will be made in Hindi and Tamil. The makers are sure that her star power will helpreach a pan-India audience. Theproducers have already signed a contract with her.”
The film is titled Thalaivi in Tamil and Jaya in Hindi. Apart from this, Ranaut will be seen in Mental Hai Kya and Panga next.
