I didn’t get any criticism, Alia Bhatt talks about her next opposite Salman Khan

Alia Bhatt has a long way to go and you can say it by looking at her craft. It’s now official that Alia Bhatt will be leading lady in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, Inshallah opposite Salman Khan. The film also remarks the reunion of the actor-director after 20-years.

But, this announcement got mixed reactions from Twitterati. One user stated, “Is Alia playing Salman Khan’s daughter?” While another tweeted, “Will the two romance? Alia is 26, Khan is 53.”

When the Gully Boy actress was approached by a leading entertainment website, she said, “I didn’t get any criticism. I think I got a lot of excitement. I think a speculation is also a form of excitement in a way and why shouldn’t there be speculation. There should be and at least I am not bothered by that and I don’t think Salman or Bhansali sir are bothered. I think this is a filmmaker who has given us very good films, he is someone who we all are very fond of and I think we should just trust him with his vision.”

Currently, on the work front, Bhatt is hands-on busy promoting Kalank while Khan is shooting for Dabangg 3 in Madhya Pradesh.
