Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann Khurrana have earlier teamed up for Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Bareilly Ki Barfi, and rumours have been doing the rounds that the actors will play homosexual lovers in Aanand L. Rai’s next, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The first instalment in the series starred Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar in leading roles and revolved around erectile dysfunction, while the second part will deal with homosexuality.
After a lot of speculations, Rao has finally denied the rumours, saying that he is not a part of the film. Earlier, buzz also was that Jitendra Kumar will be playing the leading role opposite Khurrana, but that was just, well, buzz.
This aside, Rao will be seen in Judgemental Hai Kya next, while Khurrana is basking in the success of Article 15.
