Sushma Swaraj’s sudden demise has left everyone in shock. There is no doubt about the fact that Swaraj was an excellent politician. And knowing Bollywood’s love for biopics, a biopic on her will soon be made. Though, it is too sensitive a time to be talking about a film in the making, and who would play Swaraj, Taapsee Pannu and Vidya Balan were asked questions revolving around the biopic, if any.
While promoting Mission Mangal, both Pannu and Balan spoke about Sushma Swaraj. In an interview, Pannu said, “When I was in school, I used to stop when I would see Sushma ji speaking on TV. She was a great leader and a wonderful person. I am a fan of Sushma ji and always will be. I won’t let go of any opportunity to play her on screen. Who wouldn’t want to do a biopic on such a great leader?”
Balan too paid her respects to the late politician and said that it wasn’t the right time to comment on such questions. However there will be a time in the future when a well written biopic will be put together and she would love to be a part of it.
