Rajkummar Rao has come a very long way from his initial days of struggling. The talented actor is now headlining big projects because he has the talent and is now very capable of getting box office returns for his producers. A few days back, it was announced that Rao will be starring in Iranian filmmaker Ramin Bahrani’s The White Tiger, which also stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Based on Aravind Adiga’s Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name, the film will be released on Netflix.
A few days ago, Rao had said, “I am very excited about that film. It’s a great book and has a beautiful story. I have met (director) Ramin (Bahrani). He is a great guy. I am really looking forward to start working with Priyanka in the film. I think Priyanka is phenomenally talented, so we will have a good time together while shooting the film.”
Apart from this, Chopra Jonas has The Sky Is Pink up for release in October and Rao has Made in China releasing on the Diwali weekend.
