Farhan Akhtar had earlier stunned us with his physics transformation in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, in which he played athlete Milkha Singh. Sometime back, the duo had announced their next together, titled Toofan, in which Akhtar plays a boxer. The Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has, time and again, taken to his Instagram to share videos of him preparing for the film.
But today they’ve announced not just the release date of the film but also the leading lady. Release on October 2, 2020, Toofan will star Love Sonia actress Mrunal Thakur as the leading lady.
Apart from this, the film also stars Paresh Rawal as Akhtar’s coach.
