Rumours have been doing the rounds for a while now that Deepika Padukone has signed Luv Ranjan’s film, with Ranbir Kapoor and Ajay Devgn. While there is no clarity on that yet, sources reveal that that film may not be the next big announcement Padukone will have to make.
Turns out Deepika Padukone has given her nod to Shakun Batra for his next under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. In the past, Batra has made Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Imran Khan and Kapoor & Sons Since 1921 with Alia Bhatt, Sidharth Malhotra and Fawad Khan. His stories are known to be romantic but messy at the same time. A little birdie informs us that not only is his project with Padukone messy, but also a little dark.
Apart from this, the Padmaavat actress will be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak and Kabir Khan’s ’83.
