Well, not yet. Deepika Padukone’s much awaited film, Chhapaak, has been in the making for some time now. The actress’s last outing, Padmaavat was about two years ago, and fans have waited enough to watch Padukone on the big screen again. Director Meghna Gulzar spoke about the trailer being launched on December 10, and how it’s coincidentally also World Human Rights Day. Now, Deepika Padukone has taken to her social media to announce the trailer, releasing tomorrow. Here’s what she shared:
Chhapaak follows the story of an acid attack victim and her journey after the attack. The film is based on the real-life story of Laxmi Agarwal. Also starring Vikrant Massey, Chhapaak releases on January 10, 2020 alongside Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan and Kajol’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.
