All of us know that it was Priyanka Chopra Jonas who was supposed to do Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai. The film was then tentatively titled Gangubai Kothewali, because it’s based on prostitution, and knowing Bhansali, the horrors of it too. After Chopra Jonas couldn’t make place for the film in her schedule and because Inshallah got shelved, the film landed in Bhatt’s kitty and since then, there has been no looking back.
While Miss Bhatt has been taking training on the accent and diction of Gangubai, we hear that the actor is now learning cuss words in, both, Hindi and Marathi and is also working on body language. Knowing Bhatt and her credentials, she’ll get the part right.
Apart from this, Alia Bhatt will also be seen in Karan Johar’s Takht, Mahesh Bhatt’s Sadak 2 and Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra.
