Recently, Akshay Kumar announced the change in release dates of his two upcoming films, Bachchan Pandey and Bell Bottom. While the leading lady of the former is still a myth, it was rumoured that Mrunal Thakur has been approached to play the lead opposite Akshay Kumar in Bell Bottom. Turns out, that’s not true. A source has informed a leading portal that Kriti Sanon’s sister, Nupur Sanon, has been finalised for the role and that Thakur was never approached for the same.
“While there have been talks about Mrunal Thakur being approached for Bell Bottom, the reports are mere rumours. She was never even approached for the role. In fact, Nupur Sanon has already been finalised to play the role which is said to be a significant one. Her look test is already done and with Filhall being loved so much, this seems like an exciting time for her to foray into showbiz. Nupur has already been prepping herself for the big break,” says the source.
