When you have Shoojit Sircar and Juhi Chaturvedi coming together for a film, you know the result is going to be something good, brilliant even. And Gulabo Sitabo seems just that. The director-writer duo have time and again proved that they tell stories from the heart and this one is no different.
In Gulabo Sitabo, they explore relationship dynamics between a landlord and a tenant, both of whom are always at loggerheads with each other. Amitabh Bachchan, who plays the landlord seems to be uptight, which Ayushmann Khurrana plays the tenant who just won’t leave. Bachchan’s character, hence, is on a mission to evict this person.
Before this Khurrana has worked with the director-writer duo in Vicky Donor, while Bachchan has been a part of Piku and the unreleased Shoebite.
