The A-line kurta with block print all over and gold embroidery along the hem was beautifully complemented with a set of contrastingly patterned palazzo pants and a dupatta of the same print. Mulmul is a go-to brand for Janhvi Kapoor and her various outings have only reaffirmed the same. The Dhadak actress has time and again opted for chikan, cotton kurtas from the label for her comfortable outings, and we sure are a fan of the collection. In April last year, Kapoor was spotted at the airport in a lime yellow kurta set from Mulmul as she flew out of Mumbai to shoot for Roohi Afzana. A printed kurta and pants sets with a sheer dupatta needs to be your go-to at the next puja you attend. Sara Ali Khan in Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla
Silver gota patti work on white is never a miss. Take cues from Sara Ali Khan’s Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla kurta set, comprising of an A-line kurta, a churidar, and a matching dupatta. Khan wore this outfit at the screening of her latest release, Love Aaj Kal, which was a far cry from her entire promotional wardrobe, which consisted mainly of dresses and denims and tops and skirts. Of course AJSK is a Sara Ali Khan favourite and we should all know this by now. In November last year, Khan was returning to Mumbai (not just another airport look), for which she chose an ivory kurta with a jacket, from Gulabo by Abu Sandeep, both of which had the designer duo’s signature gota patti work, with stripes in colours of pink, yellow and orange. While this may appear to be a subtle piece at first glance, Sara Ali Khan’s Devnaagri kurta set was a far cry from that. Simple, yes, but this kurta set is detailed to the T. A beautiful, subdued colour, striking green and grey prints, and the use of perfect sheer (and block), this kurta set is something you definitely want in your wardrobe. Pair it up with statement juttis, and blow-dried hair.
