Shilpa Shetty Kundra wears Punit Balana second year in a row at Ganpati!
Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Jaipur based designer, Punit Balana have always had a fruitful association. Whether it was when she unveiled his Rabari collection at the Lakmé Fashion Week, or when she casually struts around in one of his earthy creations. They always manage to create magic. And as they always have, today too, they make it work, and how!
The beginning of the Ganesh Utsav and the entire festival is a big thing for the Kundra’s. Year after year we see their celebrations and enthusiasm getting grander. For the celebrations this year, Shilpa Shetty Kundra opted for a block print kurta set from Balana’s latest collection. The fuchsia coloured kurta has been block printed with floral motifs against a lighter base, with heavy-chunky golden work done all along it. Shetty Kundra wore the kurta with a matching set of pants and a bright pink dupatta. But what stood out the most for us was the belt she wore with the look. The work on the belt was the same as on the borders of the dupatta and the hem of the kurta, and complemented the look quite well.
Shilpa Shetty Kundra finished her look with juttis and jhumkas while she kept her makeup minimal so as to let her outfit do all of the talking. The jewellery she wore was from Parina International. Not just Shetty Kundra herself, but even her son, Viaan Raj Kundra was seen in a matching ensemble. Interestingly, Shilpa Shetty Kundra, Viaan Raj Kundra and Raj Kundra had worn matching Punit Balana outfits last year as well. They were all dressed in hues of mustard last year, and this year, it’s pink for them!
So if you have a puja at home, or even your sister’s pre-wedding functions, this kurta set should be your go-to. You can shop the look here:
