The Most Stunning Outfits At The 2021 BAFTA Awards

From Vanessa Kirby’s stunning Versace to Priyanka Chopra Jonas’ double the fun outfits, these were all ‘sustainable dressing’…

2020 was the most bizarre year for films humanity. Inspite of that, the Royal Albert Hall hosted the socially distant 74th BAFTA awards yesterday. The celebration of British films and television always comes up with one of the best themes and this year too, they put their best foot forward and called for sustainable dressing. While there were quite a few attendees present in person, most of the nominees chose to attend the awards ceremony from the comfort and safety of their homes. But no matter who was where on the face of this earth, the BAFTA awards did promise a good evening of sartorial sensibilities.

Leading the cause at the awards night was Vanessa Kirby in a stunning Versace gown, followed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and husband Nick Jonas who arrived in spring bloom. Chopra Jonas used the (now) rare red carpet occasion to whip out two outfits – a bold pink jacket with a pair of white dhoti pants and a black gown (Roland van Der Kemp), both of which were crafted from the designer’s archives of recycled elements.

While known faces like Riz Ahmed in Prada, Maria Bakalova in Giorgio Armani, Phoebe Dynevor in Louis Vuitton among others lifted the night with their fashion choices, emerging talents like Celeste in Dilara Findikoglu, with built-in gloves, Ashley Madekwe in Louis Vuitton took the cake. While our ladies put their best foot forward, the men did too. Daniel Kaluuya in Alexander McQueen, the young Conrad Khan in Celine by Hedi Slimane, Leslie Odom Jr. in Versace, Kingsley Ben-Adir in Dior Men – stole the show.

Here’s a look at who wore what at the BAFTA awards:
