A bunch of Bollywood celebrities have often voiced their opinions on the ill-treatment of animals. But Priyanka Chopra takes it a step ahead and is all set to make a film for children based on stray dogs. For the project, she wanted a leading Bollywood beauty for just about five to six scenes. PeeCee also said that she approached several heroines but their demands shocked her. She added that none of the leading actresses was showing interest in doing the film for just limited scenes.
A leading daily now states that Alia Bhatt has not only been approached for the role but she has liked it too. But seems like Bhatt’s dates might be a problem. “Speculations were rife that the duo met to discuss a film where they will be seen together, but actually Priyanka bounced off the idea of her project to Alia. The latter has liked the story but is yet to give her nod,” said a source.
“Alia and Priyanka are extremely fond of each other. Plus this is a story that Alia herself pledges her support to. But the only problem are her dates. Alia already has her date diary full with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, Abhishek Varman’s next, Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, along with the release of Meghna Gulzar’s Raazi,” added the source.
