It was earlier stated that Irrfan Khan has signed Shoojit Sircar’s next, a biopic based on the life of Udham Singh. But the film had to be shelved due to Khan’s health issues. Even though Khan is still in London, undergoing treatment, he has decided to start shooting for Sircar’s film once he’s back. A source informed a leading daily, “He has really liked Shoojit’s script and is in regular touch with him. They are looking forward to reuniting after the successful Piku.”
When the leading daily quizzed the director about the same, he said, “I think now the focus is that the entire film fraternity is waiting for him to come back and restart. Irrfan is one of our finest artists and I want him to come back fully recovered and relive all his dreams. Meanwhile, I am completely ready with my prep for the film.”
