Since Pink, with films like Naam Shabana, Mulk and more to her credit, Taapsee Pannu has become the go to for female lead narratives in Hindi Cinema. And why should she not be. Not only are Pannu’s films good on content, but they also deliver at the box office.
And news now is that Pannu will be essaying the role of Mithali Raj in the latter’s biopic, titled Shabaash Mithu. Directed by Rahul Dholakia, the film will be produced by Viacom 18 and will go on floors early next year.
