We would’ve had Deepika Padukone ruling our list of best dressed divas at IIFA 2019, or #IIFAHomecoming as they are calling it, but she’s not. Her Gaurav Gupta gown was stunning, to say the least, but in this house, we do not support a rip off to such an extent. Padukone looked breathtaking, but that does not take away from the fact that her outfit was an absolute copy, even in colour, of Kylie Jenner’s Versace gown at the Met Gala 2019 and hence, we do not have her on this list. See for yourself:
Having said that, there were many girls that really won our hearts over last night, Mrunal Thakur and Radhika Madan leading the way in their sartorial choices, but not taking away anything from the other divas on our list, each looking exceptionally gorgeous.
Mrunal Thakur in Amit Aggarwal
If you’ve been following our best dressed lists for a while, you already know that if Mrunal Thakur is stepping out in that particular week, she is on our list. That is not a bias we have set. It’s just that her choices in fashion have always been top notch. Look at this asymmetrical Amit Aggarwal gown for example. While it can be risky to wear green while you’re walking the walk at IIFA, considering it is a green carpet event, the Love Sonia actress manages perfectly fine to balance that out. The minimal jewellery and gelled back hair just add to the sleekness of the look, making it one of our favourites.

Radhika Madan in Supria Munjal
Off late, Pataakha fame, Radhika Madan has been making a lot of appearances on our best dressed lists, and why should she not! Look at her going all bold in this Supria Munjal creation. What we absolutely love is the choice of colour go the gown and the lipstick to go with it. Madan does not shy away from going all the way, instead of opting for nuder shades, helping the gown standout all the more.

Swara Bhasker in Avaro Figlio
For her green carpet appearance, Swara Bhasker opted for Italian designer Avaro Figlio and there is absolutely nothing to complain about when it comes to this look of the Veere Di Wedding actor. The colour of the gown, a perfect white; the correct amount of slit, the hairdo and the makeup, we totally adore this look!

Radhika Apte in Gucci
Gucci seems to be the go to for Radhika Apte for the IIFA Awards this season. After wearing a Gucci wrap dress for the IIFA Rocks nights, Apte tones it down in this off white short dress. While red and green carpets are all about grandeur and extravagance, we love how Apte chooses to not fit into the norms and walks the walk in her comfort zone. The eye makeup, to say the least, is a treat to the eyes!

Aditi Rao Hydari in Falguni & Shane Peacock
We know Aditi Rao Hydari is a fashionista! There are no two thoughts about it. For the IIFA Awards, the Padmaavat actress opted for a Falguni & Shane Peacock body con gown with a high slit. While we would’ve preferred the slit to be a little lower, we are not complaining at all. The choker, rings and the messily blow dried hair just add to the entire drama and we love it!
